IME College is the leading Australian professional membership organisation for training independent medicolegal evaluators using evidenced-based medicine, clinical best practices, and practice guidelines. IME College provides outstanding education and a forum for knowledge sharing and improvement in IME assessments and evaluations.

IME College offers membership to all professionals involved in the management, treatment, and evaluation of injured workers, claimants, clients requiring an IME assessment. The College is a multi-specialty medical, legal and professional organisation with Medical Specialists, Legal professionals, Psychiatrists, Case Managers, and other interested parties as members.

The College has 5 categories of membership:

  • Early Career, Fellow, International Fellow, Member, Corporate

The Membership term is 1 January to 31 December (12 months).

  • Minimum 5 years specialist qualification (Medicine, Law, and/or Allied Health)
  • Unrestricted professional registration in Law and or Medicine
  • Attend 1 IME College education meeting per annum
  • Min 8 hours per week IME consultant
  • Current CertIME Certification
  • Current CertPIA Certification
